February 2024: Attention All Girls in STEM!

Expanding Your Horizons (EYH) San Diego is hosting their annual STEM Conference for Girls in grades 6-10 on Saturday, March 9th, 2024. 

What is the EYH STEM Conference? 

The all-day event is a series of workshops and activities that align with students’ interests while also being an opportunity to connect with like-minded peers and mentors. 

Upon registration, participants select their top three workshop subjects from various STEM subtopics. Students are then grouped with mentors and other students accordingly. 

When and Where is the Conference? 

The 2024 Conference is scheduled for Saturday, March 9th, at the University of San Diego (USD) from 9 am to 3 pm. 

Why attend the Conference? 

For girls with STEM inclinations, this conference is an absolute must! Opportunities for exploring new fields and industries are plentiful for those just beginning to identify their interests. For others with a clearer vision, getting to know mentors with experience in the area can be especially fulfilling. Lunch is also provided. 

I attended the 2023 Conference, and I absolutely loved it! The hands-on nature of the event makes it equal parts engaging and fun.

Registration closes Wednesday, Feb 28, includes a $30 fee, and is first-come first-serve. There are limited spots available!
