February 2025: Art Competition Workshop!

Hello VTO Families! We are excited to share that we will be hosting a virtual workshop to support students with their submissions for the VTO Art Competition, whose deadline has been extended to Saturday, March 29th, 2025. 

As a reminder, the VTO Art Competition includes a lower division (Grades K-4) and an upper division (Grades 5-9). A first-place winner will be announced from each division and receive a $50 Amazon gift card, while both runner-ups will receive $25 gift cards. Please submit your pieces using this form.

The workshop for the competition will take place on Zoom on Sunday, March 16th, from 9:45 am to 11 am PST.  During the workshop, students will have the opportunity to learn about the specifics of the grading criteria, and how to successfully address each guideline. In addition, we will go over the possible art formats and supplies, theme and content requirements, and support students as they brainstorm ideas for their own masterpieces. We hope to see all artists in the community, including those who are just starting out!
